Day 01 Arrive Trivandrum
You will be met on your arrival at Trivandrum International Airport and transferred to the
hotel of your choice. The city is gateway to one of the most beautiful states in India -
Kerala. Overnight in Trivandrum.
Day 02 In Trivandrum Kovalam
Morning breakfast and proceed for a full day sightseeing, visit to Vizhinjam Rock Cut Cave-there are rock cut
sculptures of the 18th century in the cave temple at Vizhinjam, Kuthiramalika (Puthenmalika) Palace, Sree Chithra
Art Gallery - The collection also includes paintings from China, Japan,
Tibet and Bali, The Zoological Park
- it is like a small jungle in the heart of the city, University Observatory - Located at the highest point in
the city, near the Museum. Return to resort and overnight.
Day 03 Trivandrum - Kovalam
Morning breakfast, relax at the beach or proceed for day trip to Kanniyakumari - the lands end of India or
the point where the three seas meet, enchanting Kanniyakumari or Cape Comorin is one of
the most popular Toursist spots in the South India. Visit to Vivekananda Memorial - built on the
Vivekananda Rock where the charismatic and philosopher Swami Vivekananda meditated and
transformed himself. Return to resort and overnight.
Day 04 Trivandrum Kovalam / Alleppey
(175 Kms / 4 Hrs)
Morning breakfast, check out proceed to Alleppey. On arrival, check in to a Houseboat. The
Houseboat takes you around the backwater of the Alleppey & Kumarakom. All meals on
board the houseboat. Overnight in the houseboat.
Day 05 Alleppey / Kumarakom (65 Kms / 1 Hrs)
Morning breakfast, checkout and check in to a resort at Kumarakom- an unbelievably beautiful paradise
of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with
enchating waterways and canals adorned with white lilies. Evening visit to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary - An enchanting
backwater destination, which is spread across 14 acres, is a favorite haunt of migratory
birds and an ornithologist's paradise. Overnight.
Day 06 Kumarakom
Morning breakfast and relax for the rest of the day enjoying the backwaters of Kerala.
Overnight.
Day 07 Kumarakom / Periyar (130 Kms / 3 Hrs)
Morning breakfast and check out and proceed to Thekkady
- the very sound of the word Thekkady conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of
hills and spice scented plantations. On arrival check into the resort. Lunch and relax.
Later on visit to The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary -
situated on the banks of the Periyar Lake - an artificial lake, at Thekkady. Return
to resort and overnight.
Day 08 Periyar
Breakfast at the Hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight in Munnar.
Day 09 Periyar / Munnar (100 Kms / 2 Hrs)
Morning breakfas,t checkout and proceed to
Munnar - one of the most popular hill stations in India is situated at the
confluence of three mountain streams.- Mudrapuzha,
Nallathanni and Kundala. On
arrival check into a resort, lunch. Later on half day sightseeing, visit to Lock Heart Gap
- This is an ideal place for adventure Tourism and trekking. The fresh mountain air, the
mist-clad hills and panoramic view make it worthy of a visit. Echo Point - This scenic
place gets its name from the natural echo phenomenon here, Nyayamakad - is a land of breathtaking
waterfalls. The waters cascade down a hill from a height of about 1600 metres. Return to
resort and overnight.
Day 10 Munnar / Cochin (130 Kms / 3 Hrs)
Morning breakfast and proceed to full day sightseeing, visit to
Anayirankal - It's a lush
green carpet of tea plants. A trip on the splendid reservoir is an unforgettable
experience. The Anayirankal Dam is surrounded by the Tata Tea Plantation and evergreen
forests.
Pothamedu - offers an
excellent view of the tea, coffee and cardamom plantations in Munnar. The rolling hills,
the lush mountain and the breathtaking scenery here is ideal for trekking and long
mountain walks.
Tea Museum - Munnar is perhaps the choicest of places
to preserve and showcase some of the exquisite and interesting aspects on the genesis and
growth of tea plantations in Kerala's high ranges. Return to resort and overnight.
Day 11 Munnar / Cochin (130 Kms / 3 Hrs)
Checkout after breakfast and proceed to Cochin
- The commercial capital and the most cosmopolitan city of Kerala, Kochi, in Ernakulam, is
also known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea, on arrival check in to a hotel. Evening free
to go around the city for shopping. Return to hotel and overnight
Day 12 Cochin
Morning breakfast and proceed to full day sightseeing, visit to Cochin St. Francis
Church - these centuries old church built completely of timber and later reconstructed in
stone masonry, Pierce Leslie Bungalow - this charming mansion was the office of Pierce
Leslie & Co., Characteristic features are wood panels that form the roof of the ground
floor, arched doorways, carved doors and sprawling rooms. Loafer's Corner/Princess Street
- One of the earliest streets to be constructed in Fort Kochi, Princess Street with its
European style residences still retains its old world charm. Return to hotel and
overnight.
Day 13 Cochin
Morning breakfast, checkout and proceed to Airport to board your flight to onward
